Lady

An overdue visit to a dear friend revealed an addition to their family -- Lady.

Frisky, intelligent and ever so curious. I took numerous portraits of this Cavalier King Charles (CKC) spaniel.

Challenge: The only source of light was from the chandelier in the living room, and Lady was darting around, demanding attention.

Resolution: Fast primes and a higher ISO gave me the shutter speed I needed to capture the catchlight in her eyes, and the texture in her fur. No flash was used.
